Stephen’s Thanksgiving Week Plans

I've been down this Road before.
Movie plans for this week:
Tuesday: Thirst on DVD, since I failed to take advantage of a number of opportunities to see it in theaters.
Wednesday: Take the parents to a movie here in Austin before heading out of town for Thanksgiving. The Messenger is playing at the Regal Arbor, but its strongly positive word of mouth may not be enough to overcome a premise that doesn’t interest me in the least. I think I’d prefer to see The Road for a second time, opening Wednesday at Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar and Regal Arbor.
Thursday: My annual Thanksgiving observance of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with my parents. If this is not a tradition in your family, it should be.
Over the Weekend: Fantastic Mr. Fox with some old friends.
